A “P. Diddy-style party” for a good cause? Where’s the sign-up sheet?

According to the organizers of the fourth annual Ultra White Affair, this benefit is poised to be posh and couldn’t be more philanthropic.

From 10 p.m.-2 a.m. Friday (Aug. 26) at GWIZ – The Science Museum, 1001 Boulevard of the Arts in Sarasota, Drummerboy Entertainment (a full-service Sarasota production and promotion company) will host an evening of revelry.

Attendees are asked to dress in all white attire and bring gently-used clothes, back-to-school necessities, nonperishable food and household items that are suitable for children or adults. These donations will all go to the not-for-profit organization Goodwill Industries Manasota.

The brainchild of brothers Étienne and Henry Porter, and friend Greg Rumph, the “Ultra White” event is geared toward the 25-to-45 set.

There will be food, music and a cash bar, and tickets are $10 to $40.
